Verb LIVE - Verb Technology Company, Inc. (VERB) (formerly nFusz Inc.) - DD Home - Anything not linked should be taken as opinion.

What is the true potential of verbLIVE? Let me share a few stats for those of you in marketing.
Facebook Live videos produce 6 times as many interactions as traditional videos.
Facebook Live videos get 10 times more comments than regular videos.
Facebook Live users watch FB Live videos 3 times longer than pre-uploaded videos.
With a staggering viewer-to-paying customer conversion rate hovering around 20%, web seminars commonly known as webinars are every marketer’s dream. more
What is the common theme here? Live streams are much more engaging, period. Engagement equals conversions and nothing is more engaging than when you can put up an interactive icon right on the screen while you are livestreaming, point to them, and describe in detail what they link to. Verb's video-based CRM has already proven to get as much as 1,000% increased conversion rates compared to regular video, so what can be expected when this is applied to the above stats for live streams? This is something that can't be ignored!
Effective communication with no commercial interruptions.
Imagine how this technology will affect News and Business Programming. Hosts spend almost as much time apologizing for the lack of time they can give their guests, than they actually spend discussing the day's events, and then you get to watch more commercials, oh boy! Now they can just incorporate sponsors and show links relevant to the discussion and make everyone's life much easier! Think of how effective this would be for any program of a serious nature... How long before you just start skipping channels that still has commercials? The first ones to figure this out will be the real winners.
Long before verbLIVE was announced, Rory had plans for a regularly scheduled live broadcast program that would feature the owner or CEO of a start-up and discuss their business model. Basically, the company could showcase it's product or service while giving viewers a chance to purchase them instantly via Verb's live in-broadcast links, helping to evaluate potential demand. The entire show seemed to be geared towards helping to kick-start their business, seek capital and generally get advice on taking their company to the next level.
Rory described this as a combination of Shark Tank and QVC, but I think Shark Tank is geared more toward the benefit of the celebrity hosts rather than trying to further the guest's business model.
NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. and SALT LAKE CITY, Oct. 05, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Verb Technology Company, Inc. (Nasdaq: VERB) ("VERB" or the "Company"), the leader in interactive video-based sales enablement applications, including interactive livestream eCommerce and shoppable video, webinar, CRM, and marketing applications for entrepreneurs and enterprises, today announced that the Company has entered into an agreement with David Meltzer to serve as an executive producer at verbTV, the shoppable entertainment extension of VERB’s livestream shopping destination, Marketplace (codename).
Currently the CEO and Founder of David Meltzer Enterprises, Mr. Meltzer is also co-founder of Sports 1 Marketing, a global sports and entertainment marketing agency and one of the world’s most successful sports marketing firms that leverages over $20 billion in relationship capital and over 38 years of business experience, bringing athletes, celebrities, and businesses together to “make a lot of money, help a lot of people, and have a lot of fun.” He was the former CEO of the renowned Leigh Steinberg Sports & Entertainment agency, which was the inspiration for the movie Jerry Maguire. Considered one of the top e-sports entrepreneurs and investors, Mr. Meltzer is also a three-time international best-selling author, a Top 100 Business Coach, and host of the top entrepreneur podcast, The Playbook. He has been recognized by Variety Magazine as their Sports Humanitarian of the Year and awarded the Ellis Island Medal of Honor.
verbTV is an online ecommerce channel providing viewers with a slate of shoppable and interactive entertainment programming. verbTV viewers will be able to click directly in videos to purchase products they see featured in the videos among many other engaging interactive capabilities.
As an executive producer at verbTV, Mr. Meltzer will produce content for VERB’s shoppable entertainment channel. The first among many verbTV programs in development will be Season 3 of “2 Minute Drill,” a reality TV competition created and hosted by Mr. Meltzer, Seasons 1 and 2 of which are currently available for viewing on the Bloomberg Television Network and Amazon Prime Video. Every episode of 2 Minute Drill features five entrepreneurs competing for $50,000 in cash and prizes with only two minutes each to persuade a panel of judges that their business pitch is the best. The judges/mentors, themselves successful entrepreneurs, provide insightful advice to help contestants strengthen their brands and pitches. Bringing the shoppable version of 2 Minute Drill exclusively to verbTV adds a new dimension to the entertainment experience, as viewers will now be able to participate in the program by purchasing the products and services offered by the contestants’ companies, among many other empowering interactions made possible by VERB’s state-of-the-art interactive video technology. In addition to 2 Minute Drill, Mr. Meltzer is expected to develop shoppable, interactive programs centered around e-sports as well as a shoppable version of Season 2 of Mr. Meltzer’s new TV show “Office Hours,” the first late-night entrepreneur talk show that features the best and brightest entrepreneurial minds from business, sports, and entertainment to talk about success, failure, and everything in between (Season 1 premiers on Bloomberg TV and Amazon Prime Video on Friday, October 15, 2021).
“I am thrilled to work with Rory and Team Verb to be part of the force ushering in this exciting new evolution of online ecommerce, and deliver the true convergence of pure entertainment and shoppability,” states David Meltzer.
“I have worked directly with David as guest judge and mentor on 2 Minute Drill, and I am truly excited that he will be producing shoppable e-sports and business entertainment content for verbTV,” said Rory J. Cutaia, CEO of VERB. “David has a remarkable history of sports and business acumen, matched only by his extensive contacts and relationships in the sports, business and entertainment industries, all of which will serve as a basis for his content development initiatives. We expect this will be the first of many partnerships VERB will announce as we continue to build a library of shoppable programming for verbTV. Over the last several years, we have talked repeatedly about the forthcoming convergence of online shopping and entertainment, and our intention to be at the forefront that new paradigm. With verbTV, we are delivering on that promise. We believe these new innovations will create tremendous long-term value for our Company and for all our stakeholders as Verb becomes not only a significant force in the SaaS space, but a leader in live-selling e-commerce through Marketplace and verbTV.”

The acquisition of "Sound Concepts" interrupted Verb's (formerly nFusz Inc) software development and business strategies. One strategy in particular was a live streaming application and business program which Rory had described as "Shark Tank meets QVC". The software was called notifiTV, but shareholders dubbed it "nTV". Since webinars are a big part of Direct Sales, the live app was a natural fit for this market as well. The launch of verbLIVE's webinar platform will compliment everything they have worked for over the last year and round out all the major tools for direct sales.
I personally believe that with Rory's background in creating businesses by matching business models with management teams, the original intent for the LIVE application was not for webinars, but for a live broadcast program to help entrepreneurs promote small businesses. And, now that the framework for verbCRM has been largely completed, I believe Rory will turn his attention back to the Live Broadcast market at some point in the near future and this will be yet another game changer for all live streaming programs, as EVERYTHING is moving to the internet. Investors that can see the implications this has for promoting, advertising and sales combined with shoppable content during live broadcasts, will be greatly rewarded.

Rory has said nothing about this application since the acquisition of Sound Concepts, but new developments in features and security, and the imminent launch of verbLIVE just screams nTV! Here's a very informative discussion about the program's concept on CEO Money.
Window Shopping
Where do YOU go to see what's new on the market when you're thinking about replacing a computer, weed-eater or cordless drill? Do you jump in the car, or jump on-line? If you're like me, I like to "window shop" on Amazon...
What if you could logon to a site that has several LIVE virtual computer stores where you could walk in to see what they have and ask questions in real time, without leaving your chair? This will challenge Amazon, no question.
Entertainment
Someone mentioned the TV program Antiques Roadshow. What if the owner of the item appraised could get real-time offers? Would they sell the family heirloom on a live broadcast, in front of millions of viewers?
Education
What if someone could teach a subject and link to other materials with no commercials?
I'll go a step further and predict that in a few years from now, the first thing people will look for is in-video links because of the convenience they offer. Verb will be in demand whether recorded or live.
And while I'm indulging in pure speculation as to Rory's exact intent for verb.TV, it's also worth noting that it could very well be a brand new social/business platform that includes the eco-system.

Things are changing fast! Live streaming for connected devices "smart TVs included" offer a huge opportunity to marketers and Verb LIVE!
With Smart TVs quickly becoming “connected”, this is a huge advertising market and Verb couldn't be in a better position to dominate this next wave of marketing. Verb LIVE can be viewed from any device connected to the web. Clickable taggs "CTA's" can even be added during the broadcast and viewers can respond to offers to purchase products and services, download documents and more through on-screen call-to-actions. All portable devices, computers, as well as smart TVs.
Verb LIVE will let you broadcast live presentations, discussions, seminars, training, how-to demonstrations, etc to your viewers. Clickable icons/links can be clicked or swiped right on your phone during live events.

These days, advertising is entering the new era of accurate targeting on television. Will the rapid growth of Smart TV purchasing signify the end of TV advertising in the form we used to know? The answer to this question is yes and very soon. Despite the obvious advantages of connected TV, this technology is only gaining in popularity. One day Smart TV will be largely preferred over the linear one, with when this will happen being only a matter of time. Here's a guy with 1.8 million followers that can teach you how to play a guitar.
Could he also put up a link to sell that guitar or sign up for a course?
Or how about this guy!
When making unboxing videos, he could link to previous videos for the same manufacturer to showcase other guitars too!
This would make it SO MUCH EASIER for someone to find his other unboxing videos and make a killing for himself and the manufacturer!
And don't forget,
Verb's interactive icons remain that way on recorded live streams and will continue selling long after the original live broadcast!
