Why Use Video?
Video Engages Viewers: It's just common sense that video is more interesting to view than a static image. Video is alive, ever changing and is a natural way to consume information. Video can be dramatic, funny, very informative and compelling. It's amazing what can be done with video.
In marketing, video can put you in front of your audience, demonstrate a product, tell a story, have music, or all four. It's crazy what can be done with video, but there is something else we can do to take advantage of a marketing video, add a call-to-action!

Why put Call-to-Actions in a Marketing Video?
Eliminate Search Mode: I don't know about you, but if I see an ad of something I like online, the first thing that pops into my head is this... What kind of hoops will I have to jump through and how long will it take me to find them, especially if I happen to be in the middle of something. Unless it's a really compelling offer I will just delete an email or text and carry on. If you're like me, when I go to amazon to do some shopping, I know where all the buttons are and how to navigate the site, I don't have to go into search mode.
If you click on a video and the guy says, "if you want more information just click here" and points to the link, the search mode mentality never comes into play, all you have to do is click it! That's why interactive video is so much more effective at increasing conversion rates...
This is an excellent example of an engaging video with links you don't ever have to search for.
